1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rentli ("the Service") operated by Rentli ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Rentli is a property management software platform that allows landlords and property managers to manage properties, tenants, rent payments, maintenance requests, and expenses. The Service is provided "as is" for organizational and informational purposes only.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@getrentli.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Free Trial & Subscription

Rentli offers a 7-day free trial upon registration. No credit card is required for the trial. After the trial period, continued access to premium features requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, effective at the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Upload or transmit any content that is fraudulent, misleading, or infringes any third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service to harass, discriminate against, or harm tenants or other users
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Share your account credentials with third parties

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the Service.

7. Tenant Data

You are solely responsible for obtaining any necessary consents from your tenants before entering their personal information into the Service. You must comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws in your jurisdiction when handling tenant data. Rentli is a data processor acting on your behalf as the data controller.

8. AI Features

The Service includes AI-powered features for assistance with property management tasks. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for important decisions. We are not liable for any actions taken based on AI-generated suggestions.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rentli shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rentli and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination by contacting hello@getrentli.com.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Georgia.
